One of the biggest reasons for setting up a green screen studio is to shoot scenes in environments that are not anywhere close to where you are.
So by setting up this screen, you are combining to different aspects of the film industry by filming actors in a scene (in the green room) then later shooting the background then combining the two using a special camera and or software.
This screen room tech allows you to do more than that with the right software.
You will be able to add special EFX and even 3G graphics and animations.
SETTING IT UP:
• Choose a bare-walled room.
• Have enough clear space around it
• Must be long enough to shoot different scenes
• Must be large enough to hold all the equipment as well as the actors to do scenes
USE GREEN SCREEN PAPER AS A CHEAPER OPTION:
• The cheapest way is to use neon green construction paper
• You can glue, tack or tape it on
• Or use multiple poster boards and use clear packing tape to secure the paper on it
• Make sure it covers a large enough area to get the different shots in
USE GREEN DROP CLOTHS FOR DIFFERENT TYPES OF SHAPES:
• Always straight iron the sheet before setting it up
• This removes any shadows if there are any angles
• Drape it from the wall and pin to the ground
• This will prevent distortions or wrinkling when the actors move around
PAINT ROOM IF PERMANENT SPACE
If your space is going to be used permanently for your green room shooting then it’s best to paint the room with green screen paint, which is available online of you use your local paint dealer use these to green paints

USE A PROFESSIONAL GRADE VIDEO CAMERA
Using a professional camera will make the scene look more realistic with a much higher quality image-recording layout.
You can use any camera you have at hand if you are on a budget, but to get better quality and realism, the better top of the line cameras are always the best option.
Purchase online or at your closest electronics or camera store and always advise the consultant that helps you, what you going to use it for as the quality of the camera will always dictate the outcome of your project.
NOW, ALL YOU NEED IS:
• The setting up your of your three-point lighting- setup in a triangle so you get lights all round but not crossing in front of each and casting no shadows
• Match you scenario and lighting- set you lighting to suit whichever scenario you shooting so you don’t have inconsistency
• Post or set your actors to positions when setting up your lights as this will help with shadows
• Never let any of the actors wear or use any green clothes or jewelry, even if not seen (like a watch band) as when editing software is added it will remove anything green and you might find an actor with a missing wrist.
Now you are set to shoot your scene!
